Great participation was ensured and determining the winners took some effort from a multinational jury representing six nations. A 19-year old Briton, Mark Dumpleton, 2E0NCG came out as winner by a fair margin while two U.S. hams, John Scott Anderson, KC9OQO and Brian Wood, W0DZ , finished in second and third place respectively.
